Is money the reason why many student-athlete’s remain unsigned at the end of the high school career? This can be partially true due to not investing in the recruiting process from the beginning.
Who gets the blame when the whistle is blown during an athletic contest? Who gets the blame when a student-athlete does not get enough playing time? Who gets the blame when a student-athlete is not getting the best grades?
Hmmm, we all know the answers. Is it acceptable? Who gets the blame for a student-athlete being unsigned at the end of their high school season? Yes, there are a lot of questions surrounding student-athlete’s.
No one wants to really answer these questions, but they should start. The sooner these questions are answered, the better we can assist student-athlete’s instead of placing blame on so many to the detriment of the student-athlete.
