No Filter: Why it’s not always right!

We all feel that we have the right to say what we want, but for recruiting and job purposes this is not totally true.

Social media continues to yield negative results for some.  People are losing jobs due to social media.  Social media mishaps are becoming huge issues with employers and colleges alike.

It’s not just about your original posts.  This also includes your likes, retweets, and shares.  While quite a bit of stuff on social media is entertaining, everything is not meant to be shared or liked.

I hope that 2017 begins with a more games approach to social media.  Treat the recruiting process as a business.  Coaches are asking for social media screen names.  Hmmm, I wonder why.  Fix it.

It can be an enjoyable process if you do it right.

If you are looking for an answer, waiting is not the one.
